Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor

Measures mass loading and chemical composition of non-refractory aerosol particles in real-time.

ACSM instruments use the same technology as our AMS series. Smaller, lower cost, more robust, and simpler to operate than our AMS instruments, the ACSM is designed for long-term unattended deployment and routine monitoring applications.

There are three ACSM models available: quadrupole, time-of-flight, or time-of-flight with eXtended resolution. ACSM can be configured for either a PM 1 or a PM 2.5 lens, as well as a standard or a capture vaporizer.

Each model provides mass concentrations of organics, sulfate, nitrate, chloride and ammonium with different limits of detection and time responses.

ACSM Accessories

PM 1 Lens

Particle aerodynamic lens (70 nm – 700 nm transmission range)

PM 2.5 Lens

Particle aerodynamic lens (110 nm – 3500 nm diameter)

Standard Vaporizer

Best suited for smaller particles

Capture Vaporizer

Recommended for 2.5 lens; designed to trap the bounce as particle size increases.

Aerosol Dryer System

Simple solution to dry aerosol sample; data logging of RH/T and P

Sampling System

Combines a pump and a mass flow meter with active flow regulation to deliver the sample to the AMS inlet

Quadrupole Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor

Quadrupole Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor

Measure real-time, non-refractory aerosol particle mass and chemical composition.

Time-of-Flight Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor

Time-of-Flight Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor

Measure real-time, non-refractory aerosol particle mass and chemical composition.

Time-of-Flight Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor with Extended Resolution

TIME-OF-FLIGHT AEROSOL CHEMICAL SPECIATION MONITOR WITH EXTENDED RESOLUTION

Real-time, continuous monitoring of aerosol chemical composition with improved mass resolution for better H:C, O:C, and NH4+ quantification.
