Dr. Zahniser directs the atmospheric and environmental chemistry research at ARI. He has expertise in reaction kinetics and spectroscopy of gas phase molecular species relevant to the atmosphere. He has extensive experience in laboratory rate constant measurements for reactions relevant to upper atmospheric ozone depletion and in the application of infrared tunable laser detection of atmospheric trace gases and measurements of greenhouse gas fluxes.
