Mr. Northrup joined Aerodyne Research as an Assistant Engineer in 2011. He has knowledge in both analog and digital electronics. For his senior project at UMASS Lowell, he developed a custom embedded solution to remap the functionality of an iPod to a joystick controller. He is currently a member of the team that produces Aerodyne's Quantum Cascade Laser Trace Detector systems. His main responsibilities include construction, testing, and trouble shooting of its various systems and design work.
