A compact, reliable, and interference-free means to monitor ambient oxygen concentration.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Measurement of oxygen (O2) using lamp-based absorption spectroscopy

  • Headspace Monitoring: Non-invasive monitoring of oxygen in the packaging of food products, pharmaceuticals, photographic film, textiles, etc.

  • Process Stream Monitoring: Monitoring of oxygen in pipelines, flow ducts, gas lines, exhaust ducts, etc..

  • Confined Space Monitoring, including storage tanks, silos, tunnels, ship and aircraft compartments, and process and reaction vessels

  • IG Window Seal Integrity Monitoring: Non-invasive monitoring of seal integrity on argon-filled insulated glass windows

ADVANTAGES:

  • Essentially Interference Free

  • Suitable for Corrosive Environments

  • Minimal maintenance (no scheduled maintenance except for lamp replacement)

  • Fiber-optics coupling allows for remote placement of electronics/detector module

  • Low voltage operation (12-28 VDC) optional

  • OEM module under development

Status: Prototype developed (U.S. Patent No. #5,650,845)
