Gas Measurements
Trace gases in the atmosphere are primary causes of photochemical smog, global climate change, ozone depletion and acid rain. To quantify, understand and control these problems, highly sensitive trace gas monitors are need. Aerodyne produces several instruments to measure trace gases whether on the ground or in the air.The TILDAS Compact Single Laser Trace Gas Analyzer is a compact, single laser trace gas analyzer. It is our smallest and most economical laser instrument. The instrument can be configured to detect many trace gas species including NO, N2O, NO2, NH3, CO, CO2, CH4, HCHO, O3 and many others. In some cases, multiple species can be detected simultaneously. For example: CH4 and N2O or N2O, CO and water.
The Dual Laser Trace Gas Analyzer allows for the simultaneous measurement of multiple species using two multiplexed QC lasers. The list of molecules includes NO, N2O, NO2, NH3, HONO, HNO3, CO, CH4, C2H4, HCHO, CHOOH, SO2, COS, O3, HOOH and others. Choose between two versions – one with enhanced sensitivity, the other with enhanced time response.
The CAPS NO2 Monitor provides a direct, real-time measurement of nitrogen dioxide at a very affordable price. Based on a direct absorption measurement at 450 nm, its level of detection (3-sigma) is better than 100 parts per trillion with a 10 second sampling period. A fast response version (1 second) is also available with a level of detection of 2 parts-per-billion.
The Vocus Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometer allows for the highly sensitive and selective measurement of multiple chemical species.
